Thank you for seeking me out ― I'm so glad you're here.
I am a counselor, somatic therapist, embodiment facilitator, and teacher.
My approach to therapy is embodied, trauma-informed, non-judgmental, compassionate, and liberation-based. I specialize in trauma-informed depth psychotherapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and existential therapy. My areas of expertise include sexual and relational trauma, complex and developmental trauma, grief and loss, chronic illness, the impacts of systemic oppression, climate grief and anxiety, existential and spiritual issues, and working with the queer and transgender/LGBTQ+ community.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that healing wants to happen and that growth emerges organically under the right conditions. I also recognize that our experiences are profoundly shaped by the broader contexts in which we live. By attuning to the inherent wisdom of our mind and body and understanding the interplay between our inner and outer worlds, we can gently support the natural process of healing and growth in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. I am deeply committed to the continual process of learning and unlearning and regularly engage in ongoing study, both in my field and beyond, to better serve my community.
I am honored to be doing this work and grateful to all who have allowed me to walk beside them on a stretch of their journey.
I offer sessions in person and through video conferencing. I offer a free initial consultation.
And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.
